Bangladesh: documents required for visa applicants holding a VIC
한국 비자·출입국 공지What was announced
The Korean Embassy in Bangladesh requires VIC holders to apply in person. Police clearance and designated-centre TB results must be issued within three months. D-2 and D-4 students also need admission, university payment and other supporting documents.
What you should know
The Korean Embassy in Bangladesh published this checklist on November 3, 2026 for applicants who already hold a Visa Issuance Confirmation (VIC). Applicants must submit their visa application in person. The notice gives no separate effective date or end date.
General applicants need the two-page, barcoded visa application form for VIC holders; one passport-size colour photograph taken within six months; and an original passport with at least six months of validity, plus a copy. They also need a Bangladesh Police clearance certificate and a TB result from a designated test centre, each issued within three months.
D-2 and D-4 students need those documents plus an admission certificate issued by the school or university (original or copy), a university payment certificate, their parents’ Bangladesh ID cards and passport copies if available, and a valid flight booking slip. Check the student list separately from the general applicant list.
The stated fee for a single-entry visa allowing a stay over 90 days is USD 60. The embassy says fees are not refundable after refusal, cancellation by the applicant, or issuance of a single-entry visa following a multiple-entry application. This is the checklist for filing at the embassy in Bangladesh, not a universal list for every Korean mission.
